The texts are
Graded Readers which have been adapted to the level and are suitable
for Cambridge English: First for Schools candidates.
Other editions of these books may be available. However, teachers
and candidates should be aware that the language level in
other editions may be less accessible.

CAE 2012 Optional texts:
a) William
Golding: Lord of the Flies
Teachers may choose to prepare candidates for questions on this
set text by studying a film version as well as,
or instead of, the novel.
b)
P.D. James: The Lighthouse
Candidates should be made aware that they should not attempt the
set text question unless they have the necessary vocabulary and
understanding of the text to answer the task set. Teachers are
best placed to make a judgement as to which, if any, of the set
texts
and/or film versions may be appropriate and stimulating for a
given teaching situation.

Please note:
* If you enrol after these dates you will be required to pay a surcharge. Late enrolments are accepted at the discretion of the Centre.
* In the case of certified illness only and at the discretion of Cambridge ESOL, fees will be partially reimbursed.
* Enrolment fees cannot be transferred to another session, exam or person.
* Transfering to other exams Centres is possibile, both in Italy and abroad, on condition that the new centre accepts
the candidate. It is not possible to transfer for part of the exam. The candidate will also be liable to pay the entire
enrolment fee again at the new centre. In this case the fee paid to Cambridge ESOL will be refunded by the original centre
while the local administration fee will not be refunded or only partly refunded, according to the discretion of the centre.
* We reserve the right to cancel examination sittings or examinations if enrolments fall short of the minimum number
required by Cambridge. In such a case those already enrolled will be fully reimbursed.
* All the examination papers are corrected and awarded marks by Cambridge ESOL in the UK.
Candidates now have direct, on line access to results for KET, PET, FCE, BEC, CAE, CPE.
Results will be sent directly to the candidate at the address given on the enrolment form.
The results of the exam are final.
Candidates should collect their Certificates in person 6 weeks after statements of results.
The scripts of the exam remain the property of Cambridge ESOL and cannot be returned.
